VISUAL DATA WELCOMES THREE NEW TEAM MEMBERS!

August 16, 2011, Concord, NC- Visual Data is proud to announce and welcome Kelly Canevari as their new marketing and communications manager as well as Brandon Porter and J.B. Thompson as technical account specialists.

Kelly Canevari joins us from MJ Soffe located in Fayetteville, NC.  MJ Soffe is a manufacturer that sells to several divisions including military, department store, big box retailer, and independent sporting goods.  It was there that Kelly served as the assistant merchandiser where she directed numerous projects from creating marketing materials for sales reps to developing product lines each season

She has 3 years of experience in marketing after receiving her BA from The Art Institute of Charlotte- specializing in Fashion Marketing and Management.  Her portfolio includes one of the best selling pre-lines in MJ Soffe’s history, as well as numerous marketing campaigns she successfully carried out for MJ Soffe and several small businesses.

Brandon Porter joins the Visual Data team from ESP Systems located in Charlotte, North Carolina.  ESP Systems is a provider of technology solutions and services to the hospitality industry, including restaurant table management software, reservation software, and consulting services.  It was there that Porter served as Installation Manager.  During his successful tenure at ESP Systems, he completed many implementations and training for a vast array of clients in many locations.  He also provided remote and on-site support to ensure customer satisfaction.  Mr. Porter also holds a BS in Electrical Engineering Technology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in North Carolina.

J.B. Thompson joins Visual Data from the North Carolina Army National Guard based around the Charlotte area where he still currently serves. It was there that he was in charge of all electronic warfare jamming equipment for the company as well as all communications equipment for the platoon. His technical knowledge aided the company in a successful deployment in Iraq. It is this technical experience and dedication to mission success that he brings to Visual Data.

JB also brings to Visual Data over 4 years of leadership and manager experience from serving as a Non Commissioned Officer in the Guard. As a Sergeant he is responsible for personnel and equipment. He has been recognized numerous times for this work and dedication. Most recently he has been nominated for a direct commission as an officer, highlighting his accomplishments. JB attended the Virginia Military Institute and holds a BA in Liberal Studies from Belmont Abbey College.
